Clients include: Lennox, Lockheed, SmartBridge, Jokari, Heelys, Easy Gardener, Trane, Base4, and others.
Design and develop consumer products. Several of these are presently being sold in major retailers throughout the US in conjunction with partner companies.
American Designer Pottery Dallas, TX 1996-1999
Led start-up company that manufactured unique polyurethane pottery that mimicked terra-cotta. Sales in 1996 of $800k; sales of more than $30 million in 1999. Sold company to Fiskars in 1999.
Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company Fort Worth, TX 1990-1995

Recruited to this privately held, global manufacturer of men’s and women’s work clothes. Instrumental in revitalizing classic workwear brand and helping implement strategic focus still successfully in place. Managed all marketing functions. Sales increased 150% in five years and the company went from a loss to a profit.
Bissell, Inc Grand Rapids, MI 1988-1990
Recruited to this manufacturer of floor care and cleaning devices. Managed all marketing functions including oversight of the largest advertising budget in the industry. Implemented product management and best practices new product development. Sales increased over 25% and profits increased 20%.
Rubbermaid, Inc. Wooster, OH 1985-1988
Group Product Manager
Profit and loss responsibility for Kitchen, Bath, Storage, and Outdoor Containers for this major manufacturer of plastic and rubber products. Led teams that introduced new storage items resulting in 30% increase in product line sales year over year. Integrated acquisition of Gott outdoor containers, increasing sales and profits by 15% after the acquisition. Revitalized kitchen waste can with a patented lid design. Managed eight of Rubbermaid’s top ten products (by profit). Patented design for ironing organizer in majority of hotels in US and Europe.
